We carry a wide range of gravels for every landscaping purpose as well as decorative gravels which makes a great visual accent.

Gravel:

Limestone Screenings: Compacts very well, but can be corrosive to nearby plant life. It is used as a base material for laying interlocking stone, retaining walls and patio slabs. It compacts to 2/3 of its original depth

Natural Screenings: This fine crushed gravel is more environmentally friendly and provides better drainage than Limestone screenings. It is used as a base material for laying interlocking stone, retaining walls and patio slabs. It compacts to 2/3 of its original depth

High Performance Bedding: This material is an angular, washed limestone that is free draining and deters soil migration. It is an alternative to screenings as a base material that does not need compaction; however it must be used in an enclosed space.

Granular "A": This sand and gravel mix provides excellent drainage when used as a base material for installations exceeding 6". It compacts to 3/4 of its original depth.

Crusher Run 3/4": This 3/4" and smaller crused limestone packs extremely well but does not allow water to drain through. It compacts to 3/4 of its original depth.

Clear Limestone 3/4" or 3/8": This limestone gravel is crushed and is free of sand. It is used as a hard packing base material under driveways and concrete pads.

Round Stone 3/4" or 3/8": The 3/4" stone, also known as drainage stone, is used primarily for drainage behind retaining walls or in weeping beds. The 3/8" stone is also known as peagravel and is used for dog runs as well as between slabs when larger gaps exist.

Sand/Stone Mix: This material provides the right mixture of sand to gravel for mixing concrete. Add seven 40 kg bags of Portland Cement to every yard of this sand/stone mix (1 shovel of cement to 5 shovels of mix).

Decorative Stone:

Riverstone: This popular stone is available in 4 different bulk sizes. The dominant colours are white, red and black. The stone is naturally rounded from glacial "river washing" over thousands of years. This colourful combination lends itself well to any environment and provides a natural, long lasting alternative to mulch.

Red Terra Stone: This is a baked then crushed clay product used as a decorative ground cover for driveways, walkways and gardens.

Pink Quartz: A decorative ground cover stone with a pink colour.

White stone: A decorative ground cover stone with a white colour.

Golden stone: A decorative ground cover with a golden-yellow colour.
